Hi Mixmaster,

From your description, guess this unit is yours? Looks very well maintained.

Hi

Yes, that is my former Honda Odyssey JDM. Other than normal wear and tear, she is still fine. She provided many years of service to my family over the past 6.9 years.

Hi Mixmaster,

Honda brand has been with my family and similar experience as you apart from wear & tear, It's trouble free.

Sadly after RB-series there's no 200hp Odyssey, current generation RC model is 190hp. However believe the next generation will be turbo-charged.

Mine will be due soon, will miss the power and car-like driving characteristics of the RB.

What ride has you changed to this time?

Hi Junning

I think the new Honda Odyssey RC is too van like. I wouldn't mind being chauffeured in one but I don't think I would like to drive one on a daily basis. It does not make sense to make the Odyssey bigger and heavier and yet drop the the power.

I do like the look of the Honda Vezel or HRV but I decided to change to a German SUV instead.

Hi constructicons

Most wear & tear parts of JDM RB3 Absolute are the same as Kah RB3, except for some engine components (if there's a need to do engine overhaul) due to higher compression ratios.

Hi Junning,

Thank you for the reply. Noted on the engine internals. What about the suspensions? Btw do/did you own a JDM RB3? With the higher comp, do you think FC will be better, or compromised?

Just went thru the link you attached. Guess the next best option would be aftermarket shocks.

Hi constructicons,

Welcome.

Mine is the previous gen ABA-RB1. FC is about the same as my previous '03 Accord-CM.

What I like is the higher horsepower & torque vs the non-Absolute version. However in today's condition downsize turbo engine is the economical & green way.

I had my suspension changed to OE, price is not far off from the performace coilovers.
You may want to consider this, saw a couple of RBs with it:
