Would like to know does anyone here know to replace the CL7 wiper rubber?
Wanted to change the rubber but don't know how to take out.
Hope that someone can enlighten me.....

Thanks.

It's not difficult but just time consuming.

I did mine years ago.

I think you try to pull at the side to get the metal bone out. It is the metal bone in there that keeps the rubber in place...

Hope this helps...

Hi,

There is a clip that you need to pull at the center of the wiper to get it off.

I went to Autobacs and the guy came down to the carpark, took them off for me, then took me back to the store and showed me what would fit. I bought them and then he came back down to the carpark and put them back on for me.

Not bad service. :-)

No, they said they couldn't do a refill. But they have a wiper that looks identical.

success~!

i only had long wiper frame with me. bought from thien seng short wiper frame (comes with rubber) $6x and long wiper rubber $1x

how to replace:

its really 10mins or less if you know what you are doing. the follow sounds complicated if you dun have the parts in your hands. once you see the parts, you will have an idea what to do.

old rubber can be pulled out with some force, not a lot is needed. out comes the rubber with 2 long metal rods/wires. these metal pieces fits in the gooves of your new rubber. you will understand once you see it.

you only need to fit a short length of the metal into the rubber at the tip. then feed this tip like a train on tracks into the wiper frame.
