just out of interest, what kind of FC do you guys get? currently my stock S2k (with intake), about 90% city/ 10% highway, i can only squeeze around 8+km/litre.

I get abot 8+ per litre, or 360 km before amber light comes on. There was a time when I got 400-420 km before amber but dunno what happened. This is with vtec everyday, move off from traffic lights change gear at 4000-5000 rpm minimum.

I had ard 8.6km/L with I/H/E tuned, 70city/30highway. ITB tuned 7.8km/L 70city/30highway. Everytime u drive the s2k, how can you not vtec?? Jelly, how the hell u get 10-11km/L?!?

Currently the e46 M3 is doing about 7.2km/L, 70city/30highway.

dunno leh, after 10k run in i'm getting these figures frequently, but my shift work also help as i seldom get caught in jam, if iever i need to get into cluster f area then it might drop to 9plus, but that don really happen, mostly per tank i'll travel 400 to 480km before the low fuel light comes on

my car's pretty stock, except for J's catback, and i can never reach 10km/L.
I can almost smell it though, but it's gotta be frequent cruising on expressways.
city driving, i can never touch 9km/L. :x

Is it cos you guys have tuned the ecu, so it's running leaner now than factory?
How do you get 10-11km/L?

Ok.. that being said, mine's AP2. Maybe the >10km/L is for the AP1 guys.
(smaller cc, taller gearing)

Haha! Yup ITB's do that. Sacrifice 1km/L for razor sharp response! :P

wow i have no idea how u guys can see 400+km...

also, do you guys find the last quarter tank drops very very fast? its quite scary - can go from 1/4 to 0 in less than 20km.

also, once the last bar dissapears - do you know how many litres are left inside before you run out of gas?

Stock engine with 18inch rims travelling 50city/50highway . Getting 9 to 9.5km/l with gear change at 3000rpm to 4000rpm and VTEC when roads are clear. Able to get 10km/l for easy drive but the S2K is meant to be pushed hard so
Finally back to my VTEC roots =)

I agree the last stretch of the fuel bar realli drop like a stone.
I tried driving for another 10-15 k with the light on, when I pump left ard 6.5L. My guess is ard 7-8 left when lights on.
