Honda CR-Z Owners
I'm receiving my CR-Z some time after CNY.
Why is there no active CR-Z threads here?
CR-Z owners, where are you?!
We need to discuss mods.

Nice to see more interest in the Honda CR-Z.fit4life wrote:I'm considering getting CRZ when my current car hits 3 years later this year. But I'm actually concerned about the performance of the car. I have yet to see 1 on the road also...
Please tell about the performance nunogomes. Would really like to hear it from an owner.
I've driven it for two weeks now.
I can say that it is very enjoyable to drive.
Pedal Shifting in Sports Mode really gives you that sporty feel, albeit the minimal torque-y push when the pedal is slammed to the floor. (I hope I made sense here)
I use Economy Mode most of the time and Sports Mode when I'm bored or in a rush. My Fuel Consumption is around 14km/litre.
Having said all these, it's a hybrid car afterall.
If you are looking for engine performance, you're better off with a Scirocco.
If you are looking for a unique car and wishes to save on fuel, the CR-Z is the car for you.
I have been driving the CRZ (Alpha) for almost a year now and loving every minute of my drive with it.
Like Nunogomes, Im doing mostly in econs mode, occasionally in Normal when I am in the highway. Sometimes when I feel "less green" and in need of a thrill, I'll go into sports mode. In sports mode, you can really feel the difference in the heavier steering wheel and more responsive rev. It is as if the car is on steriods when in this mode!
The car is pretty agile and it can do corners quite well. I have also driven the civic hybrid before and I can say the handling and performance of the civic hybrid is no where near the CRZ.
If you are looking for a Sports car, you are better off looking elsewhere. Although the CRZ is not slow (0-100km in 9.6s) there are still other sports coupe out there who can do better (at more expensive price of cos!)
The CRZ do not super excel in terms of speed or fuel consumption. It is not for ppl who go for pure high speed and performance and neither is it for those that go for super fuel efficiency. This is a fun to drive "Sporty Car" that gives you somewhere in the middle on both ends of speed and fuel efficiency.
A cheaper alternative coupe would be the Kia Koup but in terms of performance and fuel consumption, it is no where near the CRZ. Plus, in my opinion, the CRZ looks way awesome in its interior and exterior design as well. 3D like colour changing speedometer... beat that!
So far I am able to get a FC of 15-16km/l quite regularly. My average FC for 11500km stands at 15.3km/l at the moment.
