What is the sole function of the fuel filter?
How frequent do we need to change the fuel filter?

It is a filter in the fuel line to screens out rust particles and dirt from the fuel. If i remember correctly, according to Kah Motor they list it in the major servicings (every 40000KM) siss and bros out there pls correct me if wrong, thanks

Might get very dirty if always pump from our neighbour.
May affect the fuel delivery pressure n flow rate.
Fuel pump got to work harder for these.

sometimes when i apply the throttle, the feeling is something "choke, petrol not feeding". IS this sympton fuel pump or fuel filter ?? i have difficulty starting car on cold mornings, crank is strong but difficult to start.
