I am a newbie, I will soon get my license and would like to know how much is the insurance for someone my age (31yrs) with no NCD points to drive a Civic Type R?

Considering that u are a new driver (p-plate) and u want to get a CTR, i believe your insurance will be at least 6k I may be wrong but new driver + performanace car = high risk in the eyes of insurers.ianchua9 wrote:Hi all,

A word of advice.
Don't rush into getting a performance car, Type R or otherwise.
Drive a lesser car, gain more experience and skill, check your temperament on the road and practice safe and considerate driving.

I fully support AccordR view and advise..... Please-please consider his comment. This can save u alot of unnecessary "problem" if u call it... can save u too..... just take a look at so many young driver got killed in the road... due to not understanding themself.AccordR wrote:A word of advice.

I took the sedan path first as my 1st car before I drive a R.... I discovered that I can control myself and the car better.... most important is self control...
