A3 sure? they say A2 has more power because the range of vtec is longer because of the angle.. im confuse.. some people say A2 good.. and A3 not good, but logicly sure A3 has more power, if not TODA wouldnt make it right? hehehe..

I am sure A2 and A3 need to change the injector spring and stuffs. Does the milder A1 cam need to replace internal engine springs or stuff?
Thanks bro for the advice... i was in doubt about getting the A2 or A3 cams.. seems like A2 cams is good for street race then.. i heard it has low, mid and top end all together while A3 there is no low and mid end... but top end is good..hifi1 wrote:I'm using A2, the reason i dont use A3 is becos I dont want CEL light with Hondata at that time and good idling at city driving. But if u want to track or race, then A3 with hondata is the best bang for the bucks. U need a good tuner, dont tune too much power at high rev and everything will be good.
A2 is good but more for spirited city driving, cannot really touch A3 when on track. but i will not trade by A2 for A3, because u buy what u need, dont buy what other people say hehehehe
BTW a few yrs ago, fastest time Cl7r at Sepang clocked by A2 with spoon leh hehehehe
A3 no low and mid?? tink tuner no good hahahaha remember dont tune for max power at high end cos u will lose the low and mid, doesnt matter what cam...Bluecomet wrote:Thanks bro for the advice... i was in doubt about getting the A2 or A3 cams.. seems like A2 cams is good for street race then.. i heard it has low, mid and top end all together while A3 there is no low and mid end... but top end is good..hifi1 wrote:I'm using A2, the reason i dont use A3 is becos I dont want CEL light with Hondata at that time and good idling at city driving. But if u want to track or race, then A3 with hondata is the best bang for the bucks. i asked from TODA racing and they recommend TODA A2 is much more good than any other cams.. because of the duration of VTEC is longer due to the angle of the cams.. so no doubt about it, just get A2 cams..Waterbottle wrote:This's a gd thread. Me too is thinking of getting the toda cam.
I don't wan to lose my low end so my airbox n exhaust r still stock. My next poison is definitely Cam.
So does the fuel consumption goes up with cam? I was told u can tune it that the fuel consumption is the same as b4 unless u keep on vtecing.
Read on a car mag tat Honda discontinuing the Europe civic type r and all future r versions due to emissions concern. I luv accord euro r and most prob will drive it till as long as I can....
no good tuner? so Joel is not a good tuner? he say A2 cam is better than A3, he say that mid of A3 is not that good as A2..hifi1 wrote:A3 no low and mid?? tink tuner no good hahahaha remember dont tune for max power at high end cos u will lose the low and mid, doesnt matter what cam...Bluecomet wrote:Thanks bro for the advice... i was in doubt about getting the A2 or A3 cams.. seems like A2 cams is good for street race then.. i heard it has low, mid and top end all together while A3 there is no low and mid end... but top end is good..hifi1 wrote:I'm using A2, the reason i dont use A3 is becos I dont want CEL light with Hondata at that time and good idling at city driving. But if u want to track or race, then A3 with hondata is the best bang for the bucks. Thks.
sighhh every cam has its application, it depends on wat u want. Stock cam oso veri good, just get Hondata oso can. I am speaking from experience, heck the first 5 sets of A3 cams all sold to friends driving R, prob the first 10 guys that Joel tune all my fnds, from unfamiliar to familiar to 'expert', still who can say wat is good and wat is not? Only u can becos u are driver.Bluecomet wrote:no good tuner? so Joel is not a good tuner? he say A2 cam is better than A3, he say that mid of A3 is not that good as A2..hifi1 wrote:A3 no low and mid?? tink tuner no good hahahaha remember dont tune for max power at high end cos u will lose the low and mid, doesnt matter what cam...Bluecomet wrote: Thanks bro for the advice... i was in doubt about getting the A2 or A3 cams.. seems like A2 cams is good for street race then.. i heard it has low, mid and top end all together while A3 there is no low and mid end... but top end is good..
