Condenser fan for Civic

I was told my condenser is not working, which explains why my air-con is blowing hot air in spite of just topping up the gas a few months ago.

The thing is, I was wondering if it's expensive to replace the condenser. Is it more expensive that a compressor?

I was looking through the forum and it seems like the recommended place to go is Markcool. Anyone has any idea how much will I be looking at if I want to replace the condenser?

Thanks in advice for any help! :)

Which year is your Civic. usually is just the fan not working. Is a known problem for gen 7 Civic.

Condenser, which changes the phase of the refrigerant from gas to liquid and expels heat removed from the car.

Is the coil leaking? Replace if leak.
Is it dirty? clean if dirty. Clean properly with chemical.
Is the fan moving? replace MOTOR if not moving.
If fan motor working but not moving, is the wiring ok, check with an aircon electrician to ensure this.

I would suggest you trace into the main source of problem before using "I was told", these words does not carry responsibilty.
