Hi all tech gurus...

Got a wideband sensor cum meter installed lately (using Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor) and realised a weird behaviour thus seeking some clarifications.

I observed that under certain load conditions eg. when I am cruising at say 80km/h, and releases my throttle fully, the reading will swing to say 20.00 (max reading on left end) which is lean for a few seconds before it swings back into the more normal ranges eg. 13.1 - 14.8 range.

Is this normal?

==> yes... should only happen when you let go of your throttle... usually happens when you're doing part or full throttle... should not happen during gentle driving....

Thanks for the info.. Phew... Was worrying something was wrong.

Yup, it only happen when I abruptly let go off the throttle (example when reached a certain speed and a let go of the throttle and roll) and it will drop for a few seconds before it swing back to usual range.. Normal driving won't happen...

==> :-) ... which brand of the WB are you using on your car?

Mine is GlowShift which is black with blue LED digital display.

It comes with a controller box and optional data logging module. Calibration also done via this box.
