How many guys still need/Want to overhaul/upgrade your EG/EK

Post by David_Tan52 » Tue Aug 17, 2010 11:47 pm

How many of you guys still need/interested to build/overhaul/upgrade alittle on your EG/EK engines.

Our old 19 yr old or 14 yr old cars are wearing for sure. how many of you guys are looking to overhaul, and keep your car moving?

Interest check.. I think i need to do something to my ESI before i end up parking it in my carpark permanently.

This is just an interest check. No sales nor sales related figures will be mentioned by me here...

Contemplating on whether to keep the EG or just scrap it next yr..

..... Worth the $$$???

Guys pls chime in...

If I still had my EG5, I'd choose option 4.

Getting an EG6 or EK3 hatch/EK4 sedan by end year.

For me, at the end of the day after playing with both SOHC and DOHC, I have decided I wanna stick to DOHC for a long time. Turbo cars are out of the question for me now.

im definitely gonna keep my ride is i can afford.

thanks to the accident earlier on, my ride looks cleaner now. 8)
in fact i think my engine still very healthy. giving me darn good FC. probably 13km/l.
smooth acceleration.

only needs a new gearbox. everything stock. street legal.

but darn, when is the COE dropping. even with the hassle of yearly inspection + high roadtax BUT I DON'T MIND!

this car is still my best choice outta the thousand models out dere!
