FD2R or DC5R? Dilemma......
FD2R or DC5R? Dilemma......
Hi guys,
in a bit of a dilemma now.
Would appreciate if i can really get some suggestions with regards to whether its more wise to get a DC5R / FD2R.
Was comtemplating to go the non lta friendly route and get either a DC5 / FD2, but was advised against it as i would :
1st - might end up spending more money.
2nd - a type r is a better platform to start off with.
I been quite torn between the 2. The only sucky thing i think would be insurance.
Im 29 with only 10% NCD to my belt.
Looks wise, i can say i would be happy with either but im more concern with performance and handling aspect.
As its gg to be my 2nd car and i hope i can make a more informed decision than my previous.
Would really appreciate inputs, esp from folks who changed from a DC5R to a FD2r for whatever reasons.
Or for that matter, if you have experience with both makes.
Thanks.

Both of this car are fantastic FWD.. nothing could go too wrong with the K20A..
DC5R is a coupe... good or bad depends on individual...
FD2R makes a good car to track and to ferry family...
insurance are about the same for both nowadays if i'm not wrong as the FD2R is no longer classfied under sedan..
Personally i think a dc5r is one of the best japan coupe around.. got power, got looks..
