We should have a meeting to discuss how best to convoy up.

proposed Friday night 11pm meet and move to KL. If we get there early it's a big rest stop we can snooze a bit before the big group arrives...

I dun plan to go too fast at night in case hit any animals or what... around 110+ cruising speed (saves fuel and let's family sleep in peace as well)

best to have a walkie talkie wif earpiece so we can keep in touch car-to-car in case need to have a pee/smoke break or stop to stretch/wash face etc...

thinking of meetup on friday nite... but bro ongwc is usually working that time... gotta find a common time to meet... any suggestions?

speaking of which bro, if u wanna use paypal to TT over... rates are as follows:

https://www.paypal.com/my/cgi-bin/websc ... &countries

RM0.00 MYR - RM12,000.00 MYR
3.9% + RM2.00 MYR

RM12,000.01 MYR - RM40,000.00 MYR
3.4% + RM2.00 MYR

RM40,000.01 MYR - RM400,000.00 MYR
3.2% + RM2.00 MYR

> RM400,000.00 MYR
2.9% + RM2.00 MYR

And I checked, Paypal can use with any Malaysian Bank already, only recently like Nov/Dec?

OK... time to do some basic servicing of your vehicle if you going up to the mega TT... or plan to do it up there where service charges are cheeper? but do make sure your engine is in good condition, brakes work, and aircon too... plus you will need to bring a good walkie if you can get your hands on a set... I have 2 spare but no hands-free... pls buy your own. make sure you got lots of snacks and drinks (spillproof if you got choice haha -- camelback comes to mind if you driving solo)

Those bros who are free to just come for the ride up, can also join us...

come for meetup if you wanna hear about more details of the meetup... so many ES... in a nice quiet resort... hahaha... sure pop bonnet and ahem, test other things one...

damn... i'm looking forward to this... hope you can all come ... make sure bring camera with charger/new sets of spare batts if required... sure take pic until battery flat one... den we post here until burst ok? haha...

can't wait too =]

ok guys....just me 2 cents worth...as the owner only you will know the abilitites of your ES but some things are of importance on long trips....

Engine Oil,

these few days check the consistency of your engine oil(monitor level). morning before you even crank check your dipstick. after you drive off from your parking lot have a look at the area under the engine bay. make sure there are no stains made by your car.

Radiator fluid,

check the levels also before cranking up. if you notice flakes or debris in your radiator its a good idea to get it flushed. Do a visual inspection around
your radiator and the hoses on your radiator. make sure the hoses are not cracked or feel brittle. look out for radiator fluid stains which are a tell tale sign

Warning!!! Do not Check when your engine is even warm. you run the risk of burning yourself.

Belts,

check your belts for cracks and general wear/tear. your do not want to have to change any or lose any when your up on the highway. if your timing belt is about due please get it replaced a few days prior before departure to give lee-way for error.

Tires,

do your tire pressure checks and make sure you do not have any embedded debris in your tires. ( nails , cuts, chunking ) a tire blow out is
very very scary....

Last but not least...

Yourself!

rest yourselves well before and keep hydrated during the trip.

Enjoy!!!

i didn't state everything but these are the more major ones that can be done by anyone. feel free to ask around during the meet up this week for more tips. =]
