rear licence plate LED light strip

hi guys im gonna buy a white LED strip off the rack and install it on my own..

im not too familiar with wirings.. anyone can help me out? ..

do i just splice the wires and twine them together and tape it up?

Dun make no. plate brighter for LTA to see leh :lol:

Anyway, you can probably tap it off the original wiring to your license plate bulbs.

Can splice and connect or use a splice tap/wire tap.

You might also want to check the fuse rating for this area, although I don't think the LEDs will add too much load.

Alternatively, change our your original 2 xenon license plate bulbs to good quality LEDs, and you'll have nice, white illumination without being overbright and also avoid looking like Xmas tree lighting. :lol:
