Hi bros,
I wonder if anyone of u have similar problem that I recently faced.
During braking, I felt the stock brake pad are not biting firmly on our stock rotors. A little like what pple said....its the ABS effect lah....
But I dont really agreed cos have been driving more than 1 year and only recently it gets more obvious....
Will changing the brake pad helps on the grib?
fyi, I just done my 17,000 kms servicing at KM last week.....
Cheers!

Did you get the jerking feeling when you step on your brakes??? if yes, than its the ABS that is working.
I had my pads change during my 40k servicing, claimed that my pads are worn, but never had the "ABS" effect.

You should not be getting this "jerking" feeling unless you brake very hard or on wet roads. Or did you change your "stock" brakes to 4 pots.

Why don't you monitor your brakes for few more days before changing the pads.

bro stingray,
Fyi, I did not brake very hard....usual driving style....just felt different.
Wise man think alike, i went to check the brakes n rotor disc....in the end decided to installed the BBK, see pics. Actually had been thinking abt getting a set but no time... Now, firm braking!!
This is big 4 port BBK c/w 330mm disc. Now I am more comfortable cos our horsepower is quite high.....

I changed to wilwood while i had my civic, didn't drive long and change to accord. Afraid the same will happen, money gone.
Did they have the ready brackets for our CP2 or you had to wait while they fabricated it???
I was contemplating to change some time ago, still cannot decide.

Wah....thats a nice brand...there was no fabrication required....they have the exact dimensions for our CP rides....in fact, the box indicated "NEW ACCORD" and the rotor disc fit perfectly. The only concern u need to have, is whether yr rims can clear the big 4 pots or not. But as long as yrs is stock, then yr offset (+55) sure be able to clear the calipers.....Btw, they got this super chrome polish color which is very nice...see pic n u will drool.......

Bro, its does comes with slotted rotors but not drilled. If u want slotted plus drilled, then got to indent, not sure got upz the cost or not. Of cos, with slotted n drilled, looks even more "chio".....I very much wanted the drilled rotors but just dont feel like waiting....
Wow, Mugen CF grille...u got pic? post to show me....if solid look, k consider modding mine...am considering CF for my top cos getting tired of washing the car top...unlike bro Johanramlie, always wash his ride until so shining, k see the reflection when I drove pass his ride!!!!

Hihi
