Fm my experience, Unichip or any other chip, power always come in with increase fuel consumption.
It can never be increased power with lower fuel consumption.
Good drivability would hv been mapped out by Honda team done in yr original ECU chip.
Combustion science :
Good fuel : tuned to ensure all fuel is used up (Higher Air to fuel ratio-lean mixture).
Good Power : tuned to ensure all oxygen is used up (Lower Air to fuel ratio-rich mixture).
U can't hv the apple and eat it.
Rechipping is only useful if you planning to do mods to the car (example removing Cat converter , new cam shaft profile and so on...)

Actually, adding unichip or any chip isn't so much about increasing Fc or power.
It's more to make the car more efficient.
Honda engineers will be more conservative when doing the original ECY because they ahve to cater for all fuel grades for all countries in all temperatures which may not be the best for Singapore..
So adding a piggyback just tunes it so it's fully optimized for local conditions...and in most cases, the power gets more linear and smoother, which can sometime improve FC and give better power..
Personally, my FC improves from 10-11km/L when i'm on unichip, i took it out for a few months because it was faulty and my FC went back to 10...after i replaced it again..it went back to 11...so yes to me Unichip does work...not so much for FC but overall drivability is better

I never using Unichip, but i am DIY to some of my cars by using E-manage and AEM.
as mention by other, if u give tuner to tune, u can gain nothing much.
Especially the car is for city used. If for racing use, 2 hrs tunning is enough.
If i set from 1000 RPM to 3k RPM, my air give 0.1 Volt extra , timing 0.5 sec, didn't set on fuel. i can't feel anything, in fact, u will save fuel.
U need AFR gauge to play. set up 1k to 3k not more then 16.5:1 is save.
If u want to setup like drag racing which i currently doing in Malaysia, and if u still want to keep it at full stock and without any injector change, then u have to PM me, i can give u advise. But i only able to help u on AEM and E-manage.
With dyno result free. ( But must dyno at Malaysia)

by the way, some ppl don't used by voltage to control air and fuel.
by percentage also can be done. But i using voltage for tunning.
