Hey guys i would like to ask for some help, today my friend was driving his eg9 then suddenly this malfunction indicator lamp lit up and as far as i know that light will indicated a problem in your car system and also cut off vtec and you will realize lack of power. Well correct me if im wrong, well back to problem my friend off his car and start it back up the light did appear again so we drove off like normal, everything when fine but he and me realized that we felt the lack of power and never even felt VTEC when we pulled/drag/rev the car. What should we do now?

U can do a check light code...juz need a wire to short the plug that is located under the glove box...

sounds to me like CEL code 21 or 22 which will only appear when you kui vtec and disappear when u turn off the engine and start again..
