cool.. yah i couldn't make the last one but i'm usually there most sundays in the 2 - 5 pm race kart session with some friends

if you end up getting a race kart you're going to have a lot of fun for sure.. develops areas of driving that the best road and track cars, and even most non-formula racecars simply cannot match because of the raw forces and frequencies. gets to the point that sepang hotlap in a supercar can feel like slo mo cruising in a lexus. Peng Toh also should be getting a race kart soon!

ok i better not OT this thread.. will switch to kart thread

cheers

I can have them produced on "fridge magnet stlye" where you can just stick it at the back of you S2k ... (cannot do on front and sides.. wind will blow it off) =0) ... oh... and callsigns = your individual desired callsign..

What I like: Has the Singapore flavour, merlion logo is a very nice touch. 'Nisen' makes the logo very asian. Has the most localised touch so far. Has Honda colours, red and white.

Background could receive a lil more touch. a faint print or something.

Longish decal..

Who mentioned roadtax sticker?

What I like: Simple. Colours are fine. But quite typical, doesn't have the local flavour to make our logo distinctive.

What I like: Rev Meter. Rev Meter. Rev Meter. LoL yeah it has the harley feel, which isn't too good cuz then it doesn't set us apart although it's nice. WHY the heart manz? That's GAY. LoL~~~

What I like: Complex layers. Nice faint "H" in background. Skeleton of the s2k reflects the car having a nice balance of engineering brilliance. "S2000 Club Singapore" can certainly use a nicer font. This design might be suitable for a T-shirt print, on the back.

ShaunSG wrote:I don't have the tools or skills for graphic design, but here's an option for a round decal for the windscreen. The 4 animals were chosen for their fearsome reputation, just like the car itself. The stars represent quality and their attitude and guns show aggression. The near exact synchronization of the stars shows cohesiveness. The rainbow signifies multi-cultural-ness and gayness (gay in the cheerful merry sense)

Image
What I like: Absolutely Hilarious!! Seriously it's damn funny....the bear is darn cute!

Rev Meter + Merlion Logo + Suitable Fonts + slightly textured background.

So far that's what i think might click, going by the designs so far. So who's gonna put it all together?? :P

my two cents? I adore the rev meter done by Skiver - a lot- but I think may need to minus off the flag-like logo thingy as too harley darleyish and too distracting from a car club. May I suggest it be replaced with a more typical S2000 signature styled wording/logo and take away the wings? :)

Bump!! Will be nice to have a finalised design chosen, print either decals or tshirts or something. If I can have this finalised and done for s2k trackday it will be fantabulous~~ :P

Hmmmm that's actually not bad! But having it perpendicular to each other, as in the design and words, makes the logo a bit 'long' ? I think there are some good ideas so far, just need to put the right bits together!

I really like this one! It's simple and uncomplicated (which will also make printing of decals tshirts etc easier) and incorporates the distinctive outline of the headlight and fender. Also the double use of the "S" is an effective way of associating the "S2000" to our little "Singapore" community. It just needs a rev meter in there somewhere! Lol.

I agree with Jyoji rgd the orientation. Maybe we should have the outline of the headlight and fender placed horizontally instead of vertically, and then place the "Singapore S2000" words above it?

I like this design too... I think it's simple and yet sophisticated in style....

I don't think it'll look good if the headlight/fender is placed horizontally... though I agree for practical reason that horizontally is better. Just tilt your screen 90 degrees from your right and you'll see what I mean.

this design is excellent! simple lines r the best... we can shrink the font of the S2000 Singapore to make it fit into the vertical silhouette...

yeah you're right. having the car outline vertical is better :)
