Dear Bros n Sis, late last nite whilst on my way hme, few things happen to my ride;
1. Lost of Power Steering Feel.....steering became tight when turning slow or, even when parking.
2. Battery Check Light ON.
3. RPM went up higher then usual when the A/C was turned ON.
4. Whirring sound around the engine bay area, where all the beltings located.

As it was late at night & even when I stopped awhile to check wats happening, I can't see properly, so I kp on driving all the way hme. (Driving was normal)
This morning when I chckd, I found out that all the beltings were NOT moving when I started my car, which usually was!
Have anyone encountered this?? I owned my car for 4yrs now and most wear parts were replaced & repaired.(there's no fixed workshop I usually go)
Any good, reliable, not throat-cutting workshop to recommend, specialising with old Honda Civics? FYI, I live at Ubi.

Hope to hear any valuable feedback & advices from bros & sis in SHC!
Thanks in advance!

Defu Lane 10 block 13... look for ah heng... Soon Kiang Motor..97837908..

Your steering feeling heavy? Could be leak in your power steering fluid... do check it fast... Flameable liquid..

on 2nd i think check your power sterring belting. For check light problem check whether s it the battery or mostly i suspect might be your alternator problem .

Most likely your crankshaft pulley give way.
The pulley will turn all the needed pulley via the beltings.
Charging,power steering,a/c will not work.
Might cause over-heating also.

Enconunter that before but worse the whole pully fly off while on express way ,batt , power steering and aircon belt all gone .
you need to check whether is it the bolt holding the pully break inside the crankhaft if yes good luck it cost me almost 800 dolar labour and getting the crankshaft and pully from scrap yard

Thnks Bro Redeye for the feedback. Ive sent the car to Ah Heng (Soon Kiang) earlier & it was the crankshaft pulley that gve way, all the beltings can be re-used, he said. He will get it fixed & hope it will last for another yr or less, till I scrapped or traded-in for another car, my target mid nxt yr.*x my fingers*
Thanks a lot to all the bros for all the valuable comments & feedbacks, appreciate them a lot!
