Hi,

I'm driving a GE FIT and installed my Scuff plate (with LED) 6 months ago at DriversCorner. Initially it was alright one but suddenly one day no more light for all the 4 pieces. Thinking of resolving problem myself instead of going back to the shop but dunno what's the likely cause for the problem (fuse problem? wiring problem?) and dunno much about wiring. But really like to challenge myself to resolve the problem. Any bro/sis give me some clue about this? A million thanks. :D

Check out the wiring problem. Is there any other thing not working as well?

haha that's the problem.... nothing else seems to be having any problem. The dome light is working fine. Worst thing is I do not know whether my scuff plate led lights up only when i open the door or whether it lights up all the time (cause when i close the door, the scuff plate is covered by the door already.

Then most probably is wiring problem. If fuse problem there may be other things might be affect also.

in the end i still gave up. Went back to DC and the guy use multimeter test here test there all no problem. Then for no reason the LED lit up when the guy pull out the scuff plate wiring from the driver door.

This means bad wiring contacts.
