QN: What offset to choose for rims that flushes with fender?
Hi,
I intend to upgrade my rims for my CL7R. Please advise the ideal offset for 17" 8JJ such that the rims will look inline with the fender? Because if the rims are not really flushed with the car body, for example, slightly on the inside, then it looks really ugly!
N also what tyre specs to choose for 17" 8JJ rims?
Appreciate all advise in advance!!
Cheers!!

The smaller the offset, the more protruding it will be.WilsonGoh79 wrote:Thanks for the infos..

Re: Rims Offset

Re: Rims Offset
Yes, it will be. It will be better for aftermarket BBK to clear rims.WilsonGoh79 wrote:patcob wrote:The smaller the offset, the more protruding it will be.WilsonGoh79 wrote:Thanks for the infos..

I'm on the above setup. SSR type C-RS 17x8jj +42. Yes it protrudes out. How much? it is subjective. To me, it's an slightly not acceptable but i've left it alone for a long time liao till i got used to it liao...patcob wrote:Xianhong, xianhong wrote:Hi, Jus to check with the bros here using SSR typeC-rs - 17 x 7.5 +41 or 17 x 8 , will it hit the fender? because i think this is the only suitable spec for our car, as the next offset is +33
Take the 17X8jj will be ok, as long as the offset is within +40 - +42.
Cheers!!!!!
