HKS Open Pod

Hi guys, recently juz install hks open pod at Fong Kim. But they never take out the old air filter assembly, only add in 1 more piping and the hks filter which is directly behind my LHS headlight. Are all of u guys open pod also doing the same method as mine???

Ur photo will be of better help.
Normally open pod will remove the stock airbox n replace with the aftermarket 1 with filter. What u said sound to me like a CAI

Then i must go back Fong Kim ask them take out the stock airbox

If u take out ur stock airbox must have the arm or ram for the open pod for air .. Mine oso stock airbox remain, CAI pipe down to front fender there then HKS mushroom. Is urs the same?

Oh.. Sme lo. Ur airbox inside empty 1 right? Hows ur FC? Mine got affected and I replace the stock filter in to act as bracket after cutting away the centre wall n paper filter cause I feel that the box "lao hong"... Then duno y it helps leh. Haha. But the sound softer... Now duno n take out n try again anot

my FC ard 14.5 to 16 depend on how i drive now....
