bros, just to share...LTA had issue letters stating that HID is acceptable as far back as 1 year ago....one of the forum post contains this.
For fog lights, it is also legal and unlike olden days whereby u need to cover up the fog lights....now, they accept it but u can only switch them on during foul weather or rain.
There is no guide that HID fog is illegal. Now if we refer to HID been legal for low beam, then I dont see why fog HID is illegal.
Cheers!

bro, this link states that LTA accept the usage of HID lights. The other point stated is about the new requirement for car to be registered in Jan 2010 to have auto-leveller to reduce glare. So where do u find the statement saying it is illegal to install??

I dun knw where u get the information from, aftermarket HID was never allowed.
Pls refer to item no.8 for HID mod.

u can do anything ... but dun get caught!
if i remember correctly, changing to HID bulbs (LTA compliant) is still alrite
BUT if you're talking about HID conversion kits, then illegal liao.
Btw. item 8 discourages the use of HID Lamp Kits (which is wat im talking about) ... but HID bulbs must be of respectable standards.
