How to check if the low oil warning light is working? I am driving esi. My dipstick shows no sign of engine oil but the light never emits.

better get a mechanic to check it out... never depend on that light as it might have spoiled...

Yah, that time i top up 2 litres of oil, before that, the light also neber came on.
