Hi,

I'm intending to get a car and was told by the previous owner that there's wear and tear at the back suspension rubber that causes a small knocking noise. Can anyone advice what exactly do I need to repair or how much does it cost for the repair?

I'm not even sure what is this rubber thing that the owner mentioned at the back suspension.

I haven't gone down to take a look but will do so soon next weekend.

I thank you in advance for any response.

If its knocking it could be the suspension mount i thing. Lower rear bushings do not make any sounds. Im driving with worn lower rear bushings.Yes best to take to workshop first to check just a minor repair job.

Thanks for your replies.

The thing is that the car hasn't been bought over yet. The seller told me that the car only has this minor problem. So I'm asking around to see whether the repair will cost a lot.

So is it safe to purchase this car despite its problem? I certainly do hope that it's really considered as a minor problem.
