Hi all CP owners,

I am wondering if you have noticed any shortcomings of your CP? Be it CP1/2/3, do you find that some gadgets or "must-have" but have not been included in your CP? Please list them out.

CP 1 Must have but excluded (in purchase)

1. Front Passenger seat manual/electrical adjustments
2. VSA
3. NAV (we have the console but no chip or software that comes with it)
4. IPOD cable (given the USB cable but would be great to have the IPOD cable like the stream has it)
5. LED 3rd brake light
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

CP 2 Must have but excluded (in purchase)

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

CP 3 Must have but excluded (in purchase)

1.
2.
3.
4.

how is the steering for cp?

i din notice until my gal drove the car and told me that my previous civic is easier in steering. cause when she do turning, the steering for my civic will come back to centre when she let go. but for accord, she have to adjust it to the centre.

????
is this good or bad?

good and bad i think...

good is that when you negotiate for a bend in the carpark area (slow) but when we're talking about high speed/long distance which our CPs are (actually) "meant" for, it is not too good. you need the sports feedback from your steering wheel which is important.

send your woman for some obedience training

Acutally im new to this forum.
Never driven a honda in my life.
But i do feel that the Steering is a bit heavy compared to my old Mit Colt and Toyota.

Also im thinking that the the auto folderable side mirror cannot be activate with the control and there's no power reserve.. once u off hte engine the windows cant be closed.. darn it.

What is CP ?

CP is short for the new Accord model. just like the G7 Accord is known to be CM4/5 and for parallel import, it is known as the CL7A/R.

CP1 = 2.0

CP2 = 2.4

CP3 = 3.5

which CP are you under? do add yourself to the G8 owners' list. :lol: and welcome again. do contribute to the G8 limited threads or open new ones should you think of any good things for us to discuss.

cheers!

steering heavy? maybe last time you driving are small cars???

side mirror cannot be activated with control meaning??

which car can wind down window with engine off?? CP can wind down window when you unlock the car and try to unlock again and hold the button within 3s.

-Side mirror can be closed using the controls. now cannot
-Colt can wind up the winow when hte power is off and also close the side mirror too

CP can wind up window within a min after you off your engine (i tried it twice)...i think this feature is not too safe as it involves electrical components etc etc...if it is not managed properly, alot of side effects may occur. eg, battery drain

as for side mirror closing...i think one of the generation for civic can do this as well...hmmm...not too sure. for accords, maybe not?

i don't mind the current CP mirror closing via a button in the driver's arm console...i'm getting used to it...always tell myself to close/fold my "ears" b4 alighting. :lol: a matter of getting used to?

subjective issues.
