Reading on the OzHonda forum it seems that Honda is now starting trials for a fix on the pinging issue. Apparently it involves software update as well as a new knock sensor? One guy who had it fitted says the sounds have thus far disappeared, but then again too early to tell. Lets hope our PIs here are able to bring this update in.

I called up 3 PIs & they quoted me $34K omv for the JDM Accord but when I called Vincar, their omv was only bet $22-25K.Can anyone enlighten on the difference?

First I have to say the different in OMV btw Japan and Australia is becos at the time of buying from the supplier at the country. The exchange rate for sin to Yen dollar is weak, so need to pay more sin to buy jap and pay japan. Secondly when come to singapore custom, the custom will have a 3 week sin vs Yen exchange rate and take the highest to let the dealers to declare the amount bought in Yen and then convert it thus costing the omv to be higher and the cost too.

For the Aust or NZ accord y the OMV is Lower, the main cause is the currency.

As a few years ago Y no ppl import Aust or NZ cars, thats becos the yen is more attractive then the Aust and NZ, and somemore Japan make most ppl like it.

HI to all CU2 Bros, have been a few mths already, wondering how are ur CU2 Accord consumption...

As for my CU2 Consumption, I managed to get 11.3km/L. Hitting 400Km at half tank and when empty light lighted up is at 600km and only refill 58L of petrol.

and by the way I have found the mugen Y design and color rims, 17 inch. will be changin soon and will upload pics to share.

My average is a miserable 10.6 km per litre, out of 2 months and 9053 kms of driving. Best so far is 737km on 65l of fuel. Still fully stock except for the foggies and auto dimming mirror.

Aust, this time bought from Perth. A$249 including fitting kit (before gst rebate). Fitting it together with a new gear selector cost me S$80.

My average is about 10-11km only... But when i go to ipoh last week, i manage to hit 670km then go for refill at only 53litres.

Okie, I will try to be there, but bros I saw the monthly shc meet up place but what time will u guys be there? Cos I first time and dun know what time shld i meet up u guys?
