Cheers.
I also thinking of getting these devices fix-up on my ride.(GPS, R camera, Bluetooth).

Sorry to ask: what is 2DIN?

Hi Bro flatyre,

Long time no hear yr voice over this forum.

Pls see this URL for the various 1DIN and 2DIN explanation. I am not promoting the brand but the 2DIN unit got the function to connect to our steering wheel remote buttons. This is necessary, else u need to either pay extra $200 to connect it or the steering wheel remote buttons become redundant!

http://www.clarion.com/sg/en/products/2 ... index.html

If anyone of you are keen to upgrade together, we can together get a good deal for the 2DIN Multimedia player.

IMO, functions for 2DIN should include:
1) GPS
2) Bluetooth
3) DVD
4) MP3/USB
5) Radio
6) SD memory card
7) IPOD
8) Reverse Camera
9) TV tuner (optional)

The functions are to individual preferences. No rules, it's yr own choice.

Hope the above help.

Cheers!
:)

Bro stingray,

Need some inputs from u regarding yr rear fog lights mod. I opened up the boot internal cover and attempted to mod the fog light. Removed all hex nuts I can find and still cannot remove the entire fog light out.

I was thinking of drilling a hole on plastic and insert a wedge bulb socket. Since I cannot remove the entire fog light out to mod, I presume u drill with the fog light in it's original location. Pls confirm.

Pls confrim what method u used to hold the light in place. This is crucial, if the bulb is not held properly, it will damage the internal of the fog light unit and then game over for the entire unit. Haha..

Thx!

The using of yellow fog light on CP does show that it also look good for black CP to adopt this color instead of the crystal white and bluish lights that are in the trend now....thumbs up! Nice choice!

Yo Bro,
I too tried to remove the light but fail and finally drilled the plastic as you mentioned.
I reason why I didn't continue to promote the mod as you again had mentioned, can't find a suitable light holder. I made mine to fit but it had burnt the left holder so made a very simple holder. :(
Do it if you are willing to take risk. I'll give you all the info you need if interested, including the connection to the brake light which I recently did.

Can anyone confirm what bulb was used in the Thai CP, looks good and may consider to change. :

I'm currently out-station, didn't realised we had a new thread.

Hi Bro stingray,

Thx for the confirmation regarding the fog light.

As for the Thai Accord lightings, it looks like HID type.. for both lamp and fog light. Locally got a installer who can do it, damage not high. I change mine to HID 6K recently...Korean bulbs.

Have a nice trip...cheers!
