hhong wrote:MiSloVic wrote:an update... for those who might be concerned with the pinging in CU2, it seems that only the May 2008 build has this problem.
and Honda has confirmed that it is a problem and determined that it is 'combustion after the ignition cycle'... apparently, a fix is on its way. wonder what that 'fix' might be..
may i know where is the source you have quoted from?
the may 2008 date is from aussie CU2 members and the fix date and confirmation of the problem is from honda australia.

According to the other posts, unlikely and the local agents/PI are only bringing in the 2.4 ver.
IMO, our road tax had gone drop while ERP had gone up....bigger cc makes no difference except in power.
So, if it does not hurt yr pocket, go for the 2.4L. More options included.
Cheers!

Wa, this is an issue all the new car owners here will curse and swear! Looks like u just brought up a very unhappy topic! haha....
Fyi, most if not all who bought from KM are forced to buy their so call "inhouse insurance" which is easily $200 to $300 higher than the open market premium. ( I think this extra is split between KM n the SE)
If u r enjoying NCB of 50%, yr insurance premium should be around $800 to $900 for a car of approx. $100K.
So at the end of the day, its best to check with a few insurers and compare.
Cheers.
