Sound when releasing foot brake

Hi, My CP2 has driven almost 3000km. I noticed that whenever I wanted to move off from a complete stop, there will be a "tok" sound from the front. This sound can be heard the moment I release the foot brake. I suspect is from the front brakes. You guys got similar problems?

Agree that Camry has better sound insulation. So far unusual sound.
Just learn something while driving. If you feel that driving at "D" is sluggish and you tend to downshift the paddle shift more often, shift to "S" but DON'T use the paddle shift the response is fun

Wifey and I went for another test drive on Saturday 6 Sept 08. The price of the CP1 (2.0L) was $91,900 after various discounts, and CP2 (2.4L) was $98,900.
We've already placed an order for the CP1 (2.0L), Polished Metal Metallic with Beige interior. Have 2 days (till Monday afternoon) to consider if we prefer a CP2.
Is this a good value for money purchase, considering it is a downgrade from the CM5?
We use the car mainly to work, and back from work. The occasional shopping trips. No drives up to Malaysia. We're thinking of the savings from fuel, and road tax. Is that really substantiable?
Open to all suggestions.

Hi everyone, am new and just joined today. I just got my Accord 2.4L few days back, I think u call it CP2 here. Why CP, can anyone explain? Had read yr full threads in this topic.
Allow me to share my 2 cents worth. My previous ride is 2.4L Camry n I agreed with some of u that Camry has a better sound insulation cos they cover the engine in the bonnet while CP2 leave it openly accessible. Sometimes, u forget Camry engine was turn on and re-crank!
I am still on the running in period and cannot push the car much, so can't comment on the performance.
My CP2 comes with full body kit from KM. It's white in color. But KM did not spray to my expectation.
I am looking for a good paint protector or glazing as u called it. Anyone got good recommendation after u did yours?
Thanks and look forward to yr replies.
Cheers,
weaver87
Robert, CP2 comes with paddle shift, definitely worth the money to get it...it's the in thing and u get 2 memory seats as well....but the decision still lies in u.

Hi Flatyre
I am too am driving a CP2, but do not experience this "tok" sound. Should bring back to KM to have them look into it. Don't think this is normal.

Did any buyers of CP1 or CP2 get the Accord Advantage Program? Is this free?

All buyers of Accord from KM automatically entitle to Accord Advantage Program and it is free. The benefits sounds good, But if you read the conditions that comes with it, it's no big deal...

seems like there are more CP brothers coming in.
can share some experience...
whenever starting my car in the cold morning, and waiting to warm up, i can see some white smoke coming out from the exhuast. is this normal???
and the heat generated is quite hot at the rear after end of my drive. cause whenever i parked my car, can feel that its real hot when i go to the boot and get things. not like my preivous ride ES.
is it normal cause it is 2.4?? need to generate more heat??
anyone have the same experience as me?
