I am new in this forum but I have been following your views on the Honda City 2009 since last year. Your sharing prompt me to buy the Honda City 2009 two months ago. Hope to hear more from Honda City 09 owners.

According to my search, the Honda City 09 is very popular in India and it had won numerous awards. In Singapore, I have not seen many on the road. Could it be due to the selling price?

Do you feel more special about driving the car than others or do you sometimes feel lonely driving it due to its scarcity? Can you share your views?

Some hot news in India on the Honda City 09 to boast up your morale:

Hi, I'm a newbie here and a Big Hello to all of u here. I got my 1st car which is also a 5G Metallic Silver Honda City std from Ubi- AT
(Thanks to Adrian of KM Ubi) on the Feb 14th.
FC is pretty impressive 4 City cos my City is at current 920km to 1st servicing. On Express way, it can achieve abt 17 - 20KM/L travelling at constant speed of 90km. While travel in congested area, FC not so gd which is approx. 12 - 14KM/L. Does

Cheers to all and hope I can join you 4 discussion or meetups in future.

i tried mine auto gear. if reading from the meter, in highway with 90km/h stable, can reach 25km/l leh.. of course i knw not accurate lah. but still lazy to manual calculate. everytime after pump, forgot to reset and take down the previous reading... haha..

do u all feel that after the 1st service, the FC will improve?

I got a question on the 5G AT as I'm really a layman to cars and was previously driving a Nissan Latio.

Can someone enlighten me on the gear change between gear 1 & 2? I always feel that there's a 'pull-back' during the changing of these 2 gears. Is that normal?

Thanks :)

yes. changing of gears from gear 1 and 2 is more obvious.

However, after my 1K servicing, e jerks quite negligible le.

In fact, now my ride rather seasoned liao, quite free revving.

Hi hayash bro. me still green leh. I took those readings from the dashboard. Have not yet do the calculations myself yet. How we can't take those readings from dashboard ? I thought all this readings are from sensors located in various locations of the car. Not accurate ?
May I ask what is the best way to do the calculations ?

Cheers
