Bro vti, try this when you park your car:

1) Do not park the car with the rear wheels touching the curbs or the wheels in the small shallow carpark drains.

2) Pull the handbrake up after when you stop the car meaning foot still on the brake and gear shift to P. Do not to release your foot off the brake pedal before you pull the handbrake.



Reason for the above is that there is already some force pushing the car 1) forward or 2) backward even before you engage the gear to D. So you may feel the big impact to the gearbox.

Try to move off without switching on your air-con first and see if the problem persists.
By right, the best method is to only turn on your aircon after your car moves off, and not after starting on the engine.

IMO, u k turn the air con on after a few mins of warming up the engine. In this way, u wont "load" the cold engine straight away. Car air con cuts in n out after the designated temp is reached. So, the early you allow the air con to "run in" to yr designated temp, the lighter yr accelerator gets.

For what bro vti experiences, it could be that he moves off before the high RPM comes down. Take note that our CP RPM shoots to 1500RPM after u crank the engine during the initial start up. It then drop gradually and fall below 1000RPM once the temp goes up or after it gets warm up. The sound also comes down! Talk about sound, it's loud during the start up...

So, bro vti could try to give the car slightly longer warm up time n see if this power surge happens...if it still happens, time to retune yr ride.

Any bros noticed their front parking sensor sounds muted?

Just like the rear sensors, when you reverse and gets near any object the beeping sound will come on. And so will the front sensor but mine can hardly hear the beeping.

Any bros with this problem?

Bro hhong,

Problem solved. It was due to some accessories installed that was blocking the speaker for the front sensor. How I wished it was actually blocking the seat belt speaker instead ha..ha..

Problem solved. It was due to some accessories installed that was blocking the speaker for the front sensor. How I wished it was actually blocking the seat belt speaker instead ha..ha..

Same here bro....I had mine checked during the 1K oil change...as it appears to me that the front sensors did not beep when people walked so near to it....so I got KM to check. They say nothing wrong but I think it was rectified....cos after that, whenever motorbike or people walked past very near my front corners, it beeps....pls take note...if yr ride is in "P" gear mode, it will NOT beep!

If yr ride is in "P" gear mode, it will still beep if the handbrake is released. Confirmed this on my ride and with KM. Cheers!

From ACT club, they also found 2 main problems :

1) Sound from the front console, when speed over 80km/hr

2) Vibrating steering all the time

They've been complain to Honda Thai, but no reply or improvement yet.
