ATF cooler = automatic transmission fluid coolertattybear wrote:ur ATF cooler is to cool the engine oil or the tranmission oil?
ATF has a lower viscosity than engine oil.. i've said this many many times already, the hayden type of heatexchanger is too thin to effectively handle engine oil.. you need something at least 1" thick for the stacked-plate type of cooler

ok now i need to know roughly what you guys will be doing so i can tape up enough lots
please feel free to add to the list below:
1. Wilson - Heatshield and CAI for intake
2. Jye - TYC Projector Headlamps install
3.
4.
i think we can only handle about 4 cars or so with the tools i have, so if there's spillover (if any) then we'll hold another DIY Day Part 5 later on.. the rest of us can just help out/discuss our mods and stuff and just chillout.. maybe someone can bring some beers
but if you're coming you MUST LET ME KNOW, esp if we haven't met/seen each other before.. this is a precaution i keep, even though this gathering is on private property

bro, what time do you usually start your diy sessions and how long does it take to do heatshield and CAI for intake? i bought the heatshield from garlin and it have been sitting in my boot for months liao, just don't have time to diy....i bought the 1" thick ones, 1'x 3' cost me about $38. since you are going to give wilson pointers on his diy project, thought i might as well join in and get pointers from you too. sat is usually family day for me but i'll try to apply for gate pass for a few hrsjoon wrote:ok now i need to know roughly what you guys will be doing so i can tape up enough lotsplease feel free to add to the list below:

i'm hoping he can come down and give us some pointers too.. i'm very familiar with the EK chassis, but he's the one who's done quite few ES's.. so his input would be invaluable in your case, since wilson's is an EK

I may install the projectors earlier than the stated date. But I'll do some other DIY on that day. Hopefully I can finish wiring up the circuit for the LEDs and install then.joon wrote:ok now i need to know roughly what you guys will be doing so i can tape up enough lotsplease feel free to add to the list below:
