the main reason is I don't want to attract the attention from the police. Don't want them to stop me for that reason. By the way, what is the rating of the HID? I am looking for 4.2k?
Ya, didn't see a lot of CP version in Spore.

I notice an increase in the number of CPs but its still not abundant. At times i will meet 3 CPs in a day, at times none. Is it illegal to fit in after market HID in Malaysia??? I thought anything is possible there??? Seen so many mods of proton.

Ya, in Malaysia you can basically do anything to your car and you will be taking a risk with the police as you wouldn't know when they will pull you over and tell you that your modification in certain part is illegal. Basically, Malaysia Police BOLEH and you wouldn't want to put yourself out there to attract any attention.
Furthermore, I would like to keep my profile down. mainly all the modification is for myself and few other people to appreciate. Would go all the way to mod my car. Maybe just enhances it to the pleasure of my eyes. hehe
But FYI, if anyone driving CP1 in spore, and feel that the CP1 is a bit slow on the response, can really consider the Pivot Throttle control as I found it to be good on my car.

IMO, Malaysia Police are more accommodating. Besides, yr mods are not for racing or creating excessive noise, so u need not fear!
Both CP1 & CP2 are sluggish in the take off due to the overall weight of the car. Most of us who mod had already added Pivot Control long ago. Yes, it does make driving more comfortable but for auto gear mode only. For CP2, u can use S mode to really push the car and the power is very good.
For HID fog light conversion, be more daring lah....me on 8K since 2 years ago. Some of my friends used 12K (bluish) and it was very nice. Switch on during raining day only and u wont get harrassed by police so easily.
Enjoy yr mods!

I have tried the 8k HID long ago and for me personally, I think it is too bright and I don't need something so bright. Hehe,
At last, I saw a CP in malaysia that has activated his rear fog light. Now really tempted to do it and just wondering if it is too hard for DIY.
Any information on air filter? Everyone is talking about K&N. Any better brand?

actually 8k isnt bright, in fact the lumens are lower and darker, raining days sure hong kan
danwty, 2 ways of doing the rear fog, honda authorise dealer will do it for u for ard rm 280, its more than just drill a hole and insert bulb
or you can just do it at other accessories shop for maybe less than rm 100 or so
btw, are u on modulo grille? i have one for sale

Nope. But I am looking for one. I heard there are 2 types of Modulo grille in the market, one being the clipped on type, which is cheaper but you still can see the original grill. the other type require to change the whole grille. Your is which type what is the price?

Just found out that flyaudio just release a new type of head unit for CPs...they will replace the existing head unit with a new one and it looks exactly like to original unit.
Now I am poisoned by it. has anyone tried Caska before?

Check out this Flyaudio system...no need to add additional CD player at the bottom and the flyaudio head unit looks almost the same as the original one.

Dun install this flyaudio unit. One of our bros already tried long long ago and it has many problems. In the end, remove it within 3 days! This model is only good for China made Honda Accord.
Pls refer to one of our past discussion on HU for Accord.
Cheers!

oh..really..thanks a lot. that is a really good idea as I was really looking into the unit. So, do you know if there is any other choices for us for any after market HU? By the way, is there anywhere in Singapore that I can look for HU from either Australia or other countries that offer the LCD screen with GPS and other functions?
