Personal opinion: dun really advise to add other thing to solve yr prob. Look for the source and treat it direct maybe better?

Try to maintain it properly, like oil change regularly, Clean Your throttle body, check valve clearance to stock specs.(can help performance & mileage ofcourse!)
Check your tires pressure.

& last but not the least.. Step lightly on the gas untill it accelerates. :) then maybe shift around 2.3-2.8 dont step too much till 3rpm. i guess.

Nice car BTW....
Suspect you have compression leak somewhere hence the lousy fuel comsumption. Could be your engine head if the water is disappearing all the time. Bring to a workshop and check would be the best. If dunno any good ones just ask the guys here.

Thanks, will check it out. Could you recommend me some other reliable workshops that's good at troubleshooting? Cos some of the ones I went to are only good at fixing up performance parts, not troubleshoot problems. PM me if its not convenient to disclose here, thanks.
