yes,once check light is on,vtec doessnt roarr anymore! no power.no fun

since your ride left 1 yr plus , may I suggest u buy a GPS instead. It comes with speed indicator and is accurate. Furthermore u can transfer the GPS to your new ride next year also. I am using a Garmin Nuvi 7 series GPS.

From what you say, most likely its the speed sensor. Dun waste $$ on doing anything first. Try to remove the speed sensor and do a cleaning. It may work. I had the same problem but after I clean it, its ok now. I think got at least 9mths liao.

my car is coming out white smoke after whacking the car..i wonder whats the prob now..anyone??

and i also would like to find the previous owner for my car..
