So when I lock my door, the mirror automatic fold in and when unlock,it automatic unfold.
As I don't want to install an aftermarket alarm cos I prefer my car keys integrate with my lock & unlock device and i always have this problem that when I lock the car,i forgot whether I lock or not?
So with this device, when i see that my side mirror is fold,i know my car is lock

hi there, u k still install an OEM alarm with yr current original lock/unlock device....so there is no need to carry another extra alarm remote controller...one of the CPs had done it at around $320...so he now got sound when he lock the car...a nice soft one.
cheers!

Realised that the Accord Euro S has the same basic problem as my 2008 FD2R...does not come with electric folding mirrors...
SO what I did was to mod my non-folding mirrors to electrical folding ones, WHILST at the same time I added an autofold module to make it fold when I lock, and unfold when I unlock...
So do not fret...I can certainly help you folks who are interested to look into making your Euro S fold like the JDM ones!

My own damage : $450...That would be a baseline guide to how much you folks would be spending if you decide to pursue the project...I can certainly provide the labour to install just like my own ride...
PM me for those interested. Cheers!

I just checked the parts pricing for the Euro S bros who are interested to convert to folding turn mirrors just like their JDM counterparts for the CU2 model.
The turnset + actuator is $400 for LH & RH sides ($200/side) and the remote switch with folding button is $70. The damage for parts alone is $470. This is pricing for genuine Honda Japane parts and excludes labour to install, just parts alone.
If the CU2 Euro S bros that contacted me previously and are still interested to do this mod can contact me again so I can order the parts for you.

Eh, I'm quite interested in this. Do you think we could do a group buy and throw in installation for one lump sum?
Would we also retain the auto-tilt feature?

Sure. Auto-tilt is independently controlled by another control module and relay, so that feature would be retained and not be affected at all.

Just to check .
That means all these parts are internally in the mirror right. Not the whole set of L & R mirror right.
So no painting require if we do this mod.
Please advice. Interested. Hopefully get do group buy to get better pricing.
Thanks TiburonTurby

Yes, that is correct. Its the internal parts of the mirror that would be replaced with the ones that have the folding capability. The stock cover that came with your ride is retained, hence no painting is required. This is the cheapest option to make your mirrors fold. But then again, it is also the most troublesome option and accessories shops and garages would charge you $$ through the roof to take apart the entire mirror for this mod just to do the replacement parts within cos its time consuming and they may have to think how to take it apart if they do not have experience to do so previously - and many garages I came across in the course of doing my own mod did not have this experience and all pointed me back to KM which was ridiculous for me to do so cuz mine was a PI model. That is also why outside workshops would always recommend you to replace the entire side mirrors which would easily set you back by over 1.5K inclusive of painting. That way they save the time from dismantling the mirror and simply install the entire replacement mirror.
