yup.. still not resolved.. owners are bring the case to the consumer rights watchdog.

honda raises the compression from 10.5 to 11 in the new CU. so, while the basic engine block is the same, the internals are different.

Has anyone noticed that the new JDM Accord has pretty much the same Audio / Aircon Display as the current JDM Accord?
I suspect that the PI will only bring the basic versions in or the sports versions but WITHOUT the navi console since it cannot be used in SG.
But I cannot see any difference between the new Audio / Aircon Display over the current JDM one based on the pics of basic versions as per attached.

Can't Accord JDM at least put in a DVD player?

Dear bro, saw last sat papers. V**C** selling the new JDM accord at $82,988 with gurantee COE. while i saw other bro posted it $97,988 earlier. Why so much different? They say becuz of the different OMV. They only quote me $25-28K for OMV and they can't confirm it.

You guys think can buy? They say reaching end jan or end feb. i'm very interested to commit but afraid that i might have to top up.

What you guys think?

bro,

Buying fr PI, there is always a risk! Choose the big ones, check other link in the forum about recommended PI. There is a thread on it. Dont rush, do yr homework...

Never go for the cheapest, sure got some gimmicks! Am sure u wont want to collect yr car without wheels rite? With the kind of low price, who knows what had been removed or not included....haha.

Cheers.

Hi Bro,

I called V**C** up last weekend to enquire about the new JDM Accord that they were advertising in the papers and got two different response from each of the branch's SE I spoke with. One of them told me the price of S$82,988 is valid only if you take a minimum of 80% car loan while the other one that I spoke with told me that this price is for the Japan version of the Accord from K** M***** (i.e. known as the Honda Inspire in Japan)!

The price of the new JDM Accord, according to this SE, would be around S$98K and not S$82,988. Naturally, I was surprised by what I was told since this differs greatly from what was advertised in the papers.

As what the other bros here mention, do be careful when dealing with the PIs so that you know what you are paying for and getting at the end of the day.
