:-) wish i dare to zhng my car so much.

Anyway, there has been a fix released for the pinging issue. Here's the reply from Honda NZ folks.

"Thank you for your contact.

I understand the issue you have asked about.
There is an issue with some 2009 Model Accords making engine noise when accelerating. Honda N.Z has a software upgrade , a knock sensor part change and a series of required adjustments.

Honda N.Z will not be able to facilitate this upgrade for you while your vehicle is in Singapore. I think the best advice for you is to contact your nearest Honda dealer in Singapore and explain your concern to them
They will need to obtain the required information and parts from Honda Motor Japan and carry out the required adjustments for you.

It is a specialized process to upgrade your vehicles software , only an authorised Honda dealer would be able to perform this process.
"

The next question is... how do we get this fix over here? I've asked Vincar to see if they can help, maybe we need to go to KM to fix? :(

hello all Accord Bros

Post by kizzte » Mon Sep 14, 2009 11:03 pm

HI to all bros, today just went to Garage R to service my car. cost $165.

and I order a Apexi Rev meter with speed cut. however they will need more time to test out the speed cut on the new CU2. so mine will be the first test.

and heard from the adviser that hks is coming out with a new item to further improve the cu2.

and there is also a turbo may be suitable to fix in CU2.

and heard that theres a CU2 bro went down to check out some kit.
