Crossroad Suspension Loose Feeling

Post by Kev10 » Sun Apr 19, 2015 12:17 am

Hi Fellow XRDs

Just want to share a problem that you might be experiencing as well. My ride is coming to 6 years now and lately I am starting to feel like the rear is feeling loose especially when I go over bumps. I changed a new set of dampers but the feeling is still there.

I consulted my workshop and they told me that one of the rear suspension arm bushings were loose and suggested that I change both sides. I have ordered them from TS and should be getting them soon.

Just want to check if anyone else experiencing this and if you have also changed out any other bushings. I am not sure if the manual calls for replacement of any bushings at a certain mileage but do share if there are other bushings I should also be replacing.

Below is the image of the bushing (it's the one that is replaceable).

Thanks for the heads up.
Mine is 7 years and on normal road is ok, but like you say on bumps can feel it.

Appreciate your update on the cost of parts and service so I can consider doing it too.

Again, Thanks.
