Recommended workshop for servicing in JB

Post by Honda Civic FD4 » Wed Jan 08, 2014 10:54 am

Hi guys,

I'm newbie here. Just wanna know if anyone knows any car workshop for servicing that is reliable, cheap, and provide good service in JB? I want to service my car for 40k servicing. I read this forum and many of the member would bring their own parts. Why is that? Is it becoz scared they give you fake parts or what? Please share the info. Thanks alot guys.

They bring own parts cos cheaper. Most workshops you can see them service, so you can see them use your parts to fix and not switch to their 'fake' parts (if worried).

I service my FD2 at Hawk Tayar for the last 3 years at 1 Jalan Perisai Taman Sri Tebrau 80500. Look for Chen Youn Tow. It's near Plaza Pelangi (Approx 10 minutes after you exit from the checkpoint)

Latest damage was:-

1) RM288 comes with Mobil 1 5W50 Engine Oil + Engine Flush
2) RM40 for alignment
3) RM32 for balancing + Rotating
4) RM70 labour for 1 of the aircon motor replacement.
5) RM40 labour for ATF replacement + Brake fluid replacement
6) RM10 labour for brake fluid replacement

The parts I bought from a spare part shop nearby as well.

1) RM100 - 4 bottles of Honda ATF
2) RM40 - 2 bottles of Shell brake fluid
3) RM180 - Aircon motor
4) RM90 - 4 bottles of Honda pre-mixed coolent
