Recommendations for Ody tyres
Yeah, initially some places quoted me $180!
Look for Frankie of Soh Tyre Battery Ent at tel. 6454-9071. It's at Blk 4001 AMK Ind. Pk 1, #01-03 postal 569622
That's $140 for size 215/60 R16. Best to call him first to check if he has your size. Great service.
Oh, tested the tyres in the wet heavy downpour today - very good compose grip. If dry grip is 9.5 out of 10 rating, wet grip is 8...

Got my new set of Goodyear Eagle LS2000 Hybrid II and they were for $140 a piece. Told Frankie he was recommended bya SHC member. He's directly opposite Poh Heng! Thanks for the helping hand Jabulani.
Question for the more knowledgeable bros- My tyres were pumped up to 37psi front tyres and 39psi back tyres by Frankie's. The little notice on the side of the door after servicing reads 32 psi for Front and 35 psi for back tyres. The ride felt better, not so 'heavy' . I had a look at the tyres that were replaced, the "outside" threads were worn but the centre threads were OK. So my question is should I leave the tyre pressure as it is i.e. 37/39 psi or should I follow the suggested pressure.?
I've read that tyres that are under the recommended tyre pressure, tend to have the "outside" threads worn out much quicker! So following the suggested pressure of 32/35 would suggest that the tyres are being under pressured! Would appreciate comments on this.

Glad you got the exact tyres at the price you wanted :-)
Mine was also pumped up 37/39psi front-back. I used to put in 35psi all round before this. I decided to test out 37/39 and it felt quite good and balance for either braking, cornering or simply cruising. Maybe that help to reduce the rolling resistance I'm feeling...as you say, "the ride don't feel so heavy". In fact, the biggest proof yet is the improve mileage or FC I am getting after about slightly over 400km now.
But I don't see any noticeable wear on the "outside" threads you mentioned. I'll probably judge on the overall feedback like tyre wear, FC and performance after 1000km before deciding if I should stick to this tyre pressure or tweak it.
