Dear brothers,
I have an old ES and whenever the weather is cold it will dispense a foul smell from the aircon, whereas on hot weather there is no such issue.
Anyone know what is the cause of it and the remedy pls.
Air- con having a foul smell on cold weather
Evaporator is dirty n during cold weather may be icing forming that restricts air flow and with the bacteria growth on the dirt smell more obvious. Warm will melt the ice , more air flow n less smell. Try changing the cabin air filter first. Spraying deodouriser into the vents also ok but will not last long. Eventually best to clean evaporator.
