squealing sound from wheel/brake ?

Post by depmode75 » Thu Apr 26, 2012 11:13 am

Hi

I just bought an used 5+years old Honda Edix 1.7A.
Can hear squealing sound (like woo...woo...woo sound) when I brake to a stop.
Is it the thin brake pad warning sign?
thanks.

Very rare its ur bearing unless urs is more then 5yrs old car but still very rare. Due to brake dust of beake pads or the metal cover which cover ur brake disc maybe touching the disc. Ask a reputable shop to jack up and check first and show u the cause. Dun wana get chop for that. Brake pad if its about to finish will create this sound too.
