4 pot vs mini 6 pot
Hi all, planning a bbk upgrade for my new ride cl7r. Not sure what is main diff or pros n cons between 4 pot n mini 6 pot. Any bros here can give some advice? Also can Jbt 4 pot fit cl7r?

E.g. if the bbK is 4 pot with 320mm rotor, it will not fit into any 15" or 16" cars.

Thx bro, let's say my 17" rims offset is +45, how do I know if this set of bbk can fit?

Generally, 4 pot vs 6 pot, you do not really get more braking power. The brake torque remains the same.
Brake torque is dependant on coeff of friction, force applied, and moment arm.
By increasing the number of pots, you just cause the braking force to be applied more evenly. Or you can fit on a bigger brake pad. This allows the brake to heat up slower (as you have a bigger surface area now) and also can last longer (more material)
So the real comparison will not be 4 pot better or 6 pot better? A mediocre 8 pot will not perform as well as a branded 4 pot.
But usually the higher end kits uses more pots, this is for the spreading out of the brake force more evenly, and to last longer on track.

Bro thanks man I get a better idea now. Why are there mini pots around?
Also I hear people talk about brake bias. If change bbk n rear remain stock, are there any downsides of it? Thanks in advance
