I like the pic of sound pressure level before and after.
Before : 86 db (racing car noise or chery QQ at speed of 200km/H with open window)
after : 57.7db ( normal car like honda jazz travel at 40km/h on smooth surface)
it is almost 300% improvement !!!
oh i c * Note: The test result will vary depend on the car models
Stock honda jazz at 60km/h (61db - 64db)
Stock Honda jazz at 120km/h (70db - 71 db)
Lexus LS460 at 60km/h (55db - 58db)
Lexus LS460 at 120km/h (64db - 65db)
That why i say impressive.

Interesting! I haven't tried putting this wheel sound proofing but its already been in my mind of trying them soon, I just don't have extra funds for it.boen wrote:hi,

Had played with Soundmeter on many cars on rev low, rev high, high speed, low speed, high way. The results stated are questionable.sean liu wrote:I like the pic of sound pressure level before and after.

3db, in decidel, represent 50% lesser. It is exponential. 10dB is incredile!!!
