srs lights on all the way....y y y???

Hi all bros n sis,

Jus wana knw if anyone experience similar prob stated below:

1. SRS lights on: the srs lights are on all the way all of a sudden. How to get rid of it

2. Click sound: when turning steering left, sometimes can hear a soft click sound, why??!

Appreciate any help n advise.

For SRS light on all the way, could be due to wiring or sensor faulty... Best is to go workshop and get them to scan for error codes from OBD... Click sound when turning, is it from steering wheel??

Have u sent for any change of steering rack or adjustment on the wheel/steering wheel??, if yes, possiblities is your steering wheel behind the air bag's rel cable torn causing light up same for the steering click sound.

I did not send the steering wheel for adjustment before man and yea, the click sounds originates frm the steering wheel area. Happens only sometimes when turning left ( w revolution).........

Both srs lights and steering wheel click r irritatin for sure

SRS light on - I also had this problem on my previous civic. Was advised (can't rem the source) to change the steering wheel as this could be related to the airbag/sensor in it. Nonetheless, this is a "trial and error" solution, not a proven one.

I couldn't the justify the cost and chose to live with the lights on till the day I exported the car. Hope you manage to find the right mechanic to resolve this problem as I understand the irritation of seeing this "warning light" everytime you look at the speedo. Not to mention the safety and insurance implication if it's indeed related to the airbag.
