Need help with my Fit's FC please!

Post by edo0in » Wed Jun 15, 2011 10:36 pm

Hey people

Recently just bought a second hand Fit GD 2007 model n my FC has been quite bad. It's only 10+km/l.

Went for servicing once, n I normally drive along bukit timah road and durnean road, don't encounter much red lights though.

Can anyone share with me what to do if a Fit's FC is bad like mine? Like what to check for n what to change or anything.

Thank you in advance!

Do a servicing after buying a used car.

Change Engine oil, sparkplug, cvtf (if yours is auto), fuel filter (every 40k km)

Check Tyre condition & pressure

What is the mileage of your car & your mode of route (highway/city %)?

Mileage of car and how much u pump your tyres?
If yours is stop start traffic..its common to get 10-11km/l especially with aircon on.
Try keeping your rpm less than 2000rpm and 70km/h to see if there's any improvement
