The TSB 09-041 I have is for Acura TSX. However, the corrective action to resolve the engine pings during moderate to heavy acceleration for CU2 should be same. Seems like MBM is not carrying out the right procedure; KM would be laughing if they're reading this thread. I suppose these are the calculated risks that we take when we decide buy from PI. If u look on the bright side, Honda reassures that there is no harm to the engine and guarantee the engine will have no ill effect - I swear I've heard this before even on my old ES5, which was bought from KM:jackalcleo wrote:Do you have the TSB for this?????? Especially for the Euro model as I'm not sure if the part number for the sensor and PGM is the same for TSX / JDM/ Euro modelautoglymer wrote:Fyi ... the repair procedure (recall) for engine pings during moderate to heavy acceleration consists of the following in this case:
1. Replacement of knock sensor.
Note: Knock sensor replacement requires intake manifold removal, which requires top-up of cooling system reservoir with Honda Long Life Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2.
2. Update the PGM-FI software with the HDS.
3. Update the A/T software with the HDS.

Action (1) and (2) needs to be carried out. Action (3) needs to be done if ur CU2 is an auto-box.
Here're are the parts information for corrective action (Acura TSX):
Knock Sensor: P/N 30530-RL5-A01
Intake Manifold Gasket (four required): P/N 17115-R40-A01
Failed Part: P/N 37820-RL5-A51 <- this could be the failed knock sensor?
Software information (Acura TSX):
HDS Software Version: 2.019.009 (August 2009) (gray) or later
Control Module (CM) Update:
Application Version V6.18.06 or later.
