Which tyre shop sell alot of Enkei rim?

Post by melten » Tue Dec 29, 2009 10:46 pm

hi bros,

I am looking for Enkei pf01 18" rim (http://www.enkei.com/pf01.html). Does anyone know where got sell? Went PH & Yap bros but they do not have it.

Anyone know what is the correct offset and wide (7.5J or 8J) is correct for Accord 08? Searched through the entire forum but can't find any info on it.

Lastly, i was quoted for my brand new stock 17" rim and tyres for $1K for trade-in. Anyone got any higher offer?

thanks.

Hi there, not sure of Enkei rim u r looking for but for the trade in price of $1K, its reasonable as mine was traded in at the same price if I dont remember wrongly. As for the offset, will need to check my 18" rims again...cant remember off hand....cheers!

Hi,

According to our CP accord manual:

Wheels: 17 X 7 1/2 J
Tyres: 225/50/R17 94V

My ride came with the above tyres but I upgrade to 18 X 8 1/2, 225/45/R18 if I dont remember it wrongly....

Btw, I will be gog to repair my tyre tomorrow cos run over a stone n got it punctured today...so I will be able to check at the same time...

Thks for the compliment on my ride...actually some of the bros here got nicer ride than mine...u should see bro A_L or bro Johanramlie's!!

Cheers!

Well, YHI at Pandan Loop is the authorised distributor and they don have a showroom there. Can try Leong Seng at Paya Ubi, but YHI is the best bet.

Hi,

Ok, checked the rims this morning while repairing my tyre.

The original Honda stock rim is 17 X 7 1/2 J & offset is +55.

My rim is 18 X 8J & offset is +48.

Btw, this offset is used to determine how far the rims is inward or outward...it is not used to guage yr tyre overall height....so do take note.

If you are concern about yr tyre rubbing your fenders area when yr ride is on full load, then u should look at the rims size and tyre profile as a whole....and dont lower your coil..

cheers! 8)

thanks bros weaver87 & ml2spin.

No intention of lowering my ride. So far, it does not rub against fender during full load or full wheel turn will be fine.

I am driving a CU2, not sure if this will help.

i changed to 18 x 8.5jj, +45 ( to get the flushed look). I will prefer a 8jj rims but I like concave rims and these are mostly found on rims with a higher jj.

Tires are using 235/40/18. No issues about rubbing even on full load. My car is lowered using the mugen suspension, so I guess you will get more assurance of not rubbing if you are using stock suspension.
