HELP!!!Engine Light come on and rpm dropped

I need bros here to advise me what to do with this problem.I came home today and everything was fine.But a few hours later,I need to go out and start the engine and I saw the engine light came on.So I stopped the engine and restart again.This time the light is off but the rpm dropped to 400 to 200 at idle and the engine is like going to die off.I got unburnt petrol smell from exhaust too.Could it be O2 sensor?timing belt?Shall I call the mechanic down to tow the car?plz advise.

Could be the idle control valve faulty.
Best to scan for any fault codes.
Clear code n replace the item should solve the problem.
